Broodbaar is processing your personal data because you have supplied us with it to make use of our services. A summary of the personal data we are processing:

The processing of personal data is limited to the data that is required as a minimum for their purpose.

Data retention

Broodbaar does not store personal data any longer than necessary for the purposes they have been supplied or required by law. As a general rule we will store personal data no longer than 3 years after the last use.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Broodbaar is using third parties for:

• Making our website and ordering system usable (web hosting within the EU) - all personal data provided by you as mentioned above
• Preparation and distribution of newsletters - Name and emailaddress
• The processing of online payments - Name, email address and customer reference
• Creating offsite backups in a for the third party unreadable format (encryption)

View, modify or delete personal data

You have the right to review, correct or delete the personal data we have received from you. This is entirely possible via your personal pages on the website where your data can be viewed and changed. These pages also provide insight into your order and payment history that Broodbaar has stored.

The removal of all personal data that we have available can be requested via the personal pages. This action is irreversible and will erase all personal data we have and anonymize the order history. This is possible when there are no outstanding amounts on your account and your last order is at least 3 months in the past.

For customers who pay by means of an invoice, we are bound by the legal obligations, removing documents that may contain personal data is only possible 7 years after the last invoice date.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of the data, to object to the processing or to make your data transferable in a computer file. If you wish to use right this please send a specified request to info@broodbaar.be. It is necessary to identify yourself by means of a copy of your identity card. Before sending, make your photo, identity card number and birth date unreadable.

Complaints

Should you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, you can contact us directly. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Privacy Commission (data protection authority).

Data security

Broodbaar takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized disclosure, including:

• The ordering system of the website is encrypted with TLS (recognizable by the padlock in the address bar).
• Authentication is always required for access to personal data
• Online payment traffic is handled by external payment providers. Broodbaar does not receive or store details about our payment methods in any way. This communication takes place directly with the PCI certified payment providers.
• We encrypt personal data by means of encryption or hashing when there is reason to do so
• We make backups of our data in order to be able to repair these in case of physical or technical errors
